HAYWARD -- Cal State Stanislaus scored its second big volleyball victory of the week, beating Cal State East Bay 3-2 Friday.
After upsetting perennial power Chico State on Wednesday, the Warriors rallied from two games down to top East Bay 20-25, 21-25, 25-12, 25-17, 15-13 in a California Collegiate Athletic Association match.
Andrea Fett had career highs of 23 kills, 17 digs and four blocks for Stanislaus (6-10, 3-5 CCAA). East Bay (6-9, 1-7 CCAA) was led by Hannah Bell's 12 kills and 18 digs.

CSUS WOMEN 2, CSMB 1 (2OT), at Seaside Bernie Bettencourt's goal with just over two minutes to play in the second overtime period put Stanislaus on top against Monterey Bay. Allie Dugan also scored for the Warriors (10-1 CCAA) who have won eight in a row.
CSUS MEN 2, CSMB 0, at Seaside Goals by Luis Guzman and Schad TenBroeck led the Warriors (5-2-2, 3-2-2 CCAA) to the victory at Monterey Bay (1-8, 1-7 CCAA).
MJC MEN 1, AMERICAN RIVER 0 Elias Venegas scored in the 60th minute off an assist by Edwin Rodriguez to push the Pirates (2-1-1 Big 8) ahead. Goalkeeper Alonso Lara had seven saves.
DIABLO VALLEY 3, MJC WOMEN 0 The Pirates were shut out at Pleasant Hill. Goalkeeper Elizabeth Amaya had seven saves.
Water Polo
The Modesto JC women won their games at their own four-team mini-tournament. The Pirates beat Saddleback 16-6 as five players scored two goals each. Kristine Groteguth scored three goals in a 12-9 victory against Cuesta.
The Pirates (4-12) scored four consecutive goals to overcome a 6-4 deficit in the middle of the third period. MJC goalkeeper Ellisa Williams had 12 saves against Saddleback and 14 against Cuesta.
