MODESTO -- Gregori High School rose to the Breakfast Challenge, a contest aimed at getting students to eat the first meal of the day.
They increased their use of the campus breakfast program 39 percent over a three-week period near the start of the school year, topping the seven other high schools in the Modesto City Schools district.
The second annual contest was sponsored by the California Milk Processor Advisory Board, which created the "got milk?" advertising campaign.
