Modesto JC fourth at Big 8 golf tourney

Jordan Garcia shot an 84 at Ione’s Castle Oaks and led the Modesto Junior College golf team to a fourth-place finish Thursday during the sixth of 12th Big 8 Conference tournaments. Jennifer Ketner followed with an 87 for the Pirates, who trailed victor Sacramento City by 15 strokes.
