TURLOCK -- The MedicAlert Foundation, best known for the bracelets that let first responders know about patients' medical conditions, is focusing on preventative medicine with a health and safety fair this weekend.
MedicAlert's Community Health and Safety Fair on Saturday will offer medical screenings, healthy living demonstrations and entertainment.
"MedicAlert prides itself on being the most dependable, intelligent and trusted emergency support network," Andrew Wigglesworth, president and chief executive officer of the MedicAlert Foundation, said in a statement about the fair. "Welcoming Central Valley residents to our campus is a way to promote health within our community, and is a way to educate our neighbors of the value of taking care of oneself."
