Question of the Week: Favorite season?

Fall's finally here. Where does it rank among your seasonal preferences, and what do you like or dislike about it?

Fall is definitely my favorite season. I love the first cold days, when you can finally wear boots and scarves and cute hats after a long season of shorts and tank tops. As soon as the temperature hits 40 degrees or colder, though, I'm miserable and chanting "I can't wait for summer."

Summer will always be my favorite season, but fall is definitely a close second. It's that time of year where things start to cool down a bit and the leaves start changing colors. There are definitely quite a lot of reasons why I like fall so much, but the best thing about it would be the change in weather. It's not too cold and not too warm, but fresh. Halloween is also a big plus, and Thanksgiving too. So yes I do like fall, a lot.

Fall is so great, just because of the cooler weather, cute fall clothes and, of course, Halloween!Mark Borges, freshman, Hughson HighI would have to say that fall and spring are my two favorite seasons, just because summer is always too hot and winter is always too cold. The problem with fall, though, is picking up leaves!

Fall is one of my favorite seasons because I like the cool weather and sound of leaves crunching under my feet. Raking leaves is one of the few outdoor chores I actually enjoy doing! It's cold enough outside to wear sweatshirts but not cold enough to be miserable, and when it rains, I like to listen to the sound of the raindrops. Fall is such a beautiful and enjoyable season!

Fall is probably my favorite season because it is cool enough to wear a light sweater, but you can still get away with shorts!
