Modesto JC golf ties for third at Big 8

Spencer Downey shot an 84 at Table Mountain in Oroville and led Modesto Junior College to a tie with Sierra for third place during the season's fourth Big 8 Conference golf tournament Thursday. Jordan Garcia had an 84 for the Pirates, who finished behind first-place Delta and runner-up Sacramento.
