END OF RECIPE OF THE DAY: BUFFALO CHICKEN DIP

September 20, 2012

Farewell, readers. This is the final Recipe of the Day newsletter. But to find recipes every week, check in with www.kansas.com/food or read Wednesday's WichiTalk page in the Wichita Eagle. Today's final recipe is for an addictive dip that all your friends will want.

INGREDIENTS

1 package cream cheese (softened)
2 large cans (10 oz.) chunk chicken breast, drained
1/2 cup Texas Pete
3/4 cup Ranch dressing
1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1 bag Fritos Scoops.

DIRECTIONS

Spread cream cheese on bottom of Pyrex baking dish (mine is 8x8). In separate bowl, combine chicken, hot sauce and Ranch dressing. Spread over cream cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle with Monterey Jack. Let sit for 10-15 minutes to cool, and to let cheese melt. Serve with tortilla chips or Fritos Scoops.
