• BIRD-WATCHING FIELD TRIP

When: Sunday, 7 a.m.

Where: Stanislaus County Library, 15th and I streets

Info: Members of the Stanislaus Audubon Society will be leading a bird-watching field trip to the San Joaquin River National Wildlife Refuge. Meet in the library parking lot to car-pool. Wear a hat, long-sleeved shirt, long pants and good walking shoes or boots. Bring binoculars, water, snack, sunscreen and insect repellant. Trip will last to about noon. • NEUROPATHY SUPPORT GROUP

Where: Trinity United Presbyterian Church, 1600 Carver Road

Info: Neuropathy is a disease involving nerves outside the central nervous system; mainly of the arms, legs, hands and feet. The Modesto Neuropathy Support Group meets each month to inform, provide support and comfort for those with this affliction. For more, call Mary at (209) 526-6439.
