Three unarmed men robbed a Chase bank branch in Lathrop on Wednesday morning. Lathrop police responded to the bank on Harlan Road at 11:30 a.m. Bank employees said three men were involved in the robbery.
Two men jumped the counter and one stayed by the door. The men demanded the bank teller put money in a satchel, police said.
Police report that there were no threats of weapons or weapons seen during the robbery. The three fled on foot into a residential neighborhood with an undisclosed amount of cash. No robbers were found in a search of the area.
Two of the robbers were black men in their late 20s or early 30s, one wearing a dark, hooded sweat shirt, dark baseball cap and gray sweatpants, and one wearing dark sunglasses, a dark fisherman-style floppy hat, a long-sleeve Ed Hardy shirt and tan shorts. The third was a light-colored black or Latino man in his late 20s wearing a gray, hooded sweat shirt, light pants and dark bandanna over his face.
