Trial to be set for teen accused of killing parents

MODESTO -- A court date was set Monday to schedule a jury trial for the 18-year-old woman accused of stabbing her parents on Mother's Day last year.

Shanna Wills has been ordered to stand trial on charges of the murder of her father, attempted murder of her mother and assault with a deadly weapon against both in the attack May 8, 2011.

Wills and attorneys in the case will return to Stanislaus County Superior Court on Sept. 24 to set a jury trial date.
