I would like to thank The Modesto Bee for its investigating and reporting local news that should be of great interest to readers in the area.
Some of the issues I am referring to are the controversy around SCAP, the Village I tax fiasco, the local court administrator who took a 5 percent raise while people in his department were being laid off to save money and the sheriff with the "Limp, Lame and Lazy" list.
All of these types of articles show The Bee is committed to exposing what is going on in the hen house and the character of the people watching it. Please keep up the great work because it takes real courage to tell it like it is.
