Grow up and get over it. When I served in the Navy and went through boot camp and during my time in service, there was a common lighthearted term when referring to those unable to physically perform their duties. They were referred to as the "sick, lame and lazy."
No one was offended by this harmless term and no one wrote home to mommy to complain or file a lawsuit. After all, we were all in our late teens and early 20s and were mature enough to handle it and accept it for what it was.
I have no knowledge of deputy Dennis Wallace's situation and I hope it works out for him, but for some to be offended by the reference "limp, lame and lazy" is childish.
