Thank you for the senior discounts

When I was doing my morning prayer time and Bible study one day, I thanked the Lord for a senior discount I recently was given for a local car repair. Little did the man realize the $40 discount could buy groceries for a week for this 77-year-old widow living mostly on Social Security.

I then thought of the many businesses that routinely give me senior discounts. When I add them up, it amounts to a fair amount of money. I don't believe these people really know how much this helps. Even pennies add up!

I am thankful to all the businesses throughout the Sonora and Modesto areas over the years that have extended these discounts to me. I want them to know that it really helps.
