Modesto woman shot in foot during argument

Modesto -- A Modesto woman was shot in the foot early Friday morning during an argument between her boyfriend and several men. The 28-year-old woman walked out of her home in the 1300 block of Tenaya Drive in the airport neighborhood about 12:45 a.m. to find her boyfriend arguing with several young Latino men, according to Sgt. Anthony Bejaran. She went to her boyfriend and one of the men brandished a gun and fired several shots at the woman and her boyfriend. One of the rounds hit the woman in the foot, Bejaran said. She was taken to a local hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening. Descriptions of the suspects were vague, but the victim said they were wearing white shirts and dark shorts.
