Library anniversary event a success

Thanks to everyone who helped with and celebrated the Night at the Old Library honoring the 100th birthday of the McHenry Library.

It was a joyous community event supported by docents and community members.

Special thanks to The Bee, the Stanislaus County Library and Shoob Photography.

Families enjoyed the opportunity to mingle with "living" historic figures, such as the 1912 mayor and his wife, a 49er, a school teacher from the 1850s, a barber and a clown.

The event was magical and memorable!
