Question of the Week: Excited for Olympics?

How excited are you for the upcoming Olympics, and what's your favorite event?

The Olympics are cool for me because I love the excitement of the players. I mean, it's every athlete's dream to wear their country's colors at the Olympics. I am also very interested to find out who takes the gold in tennis because I'm sure some big-name players want redemption after all the upsets at Wimbledon — and an added bonus, they are going to be playing at The All-England Club, the same place at which Wimbledon is played.

I can't wait for the Olympics! I'll especially be watching gymnastics, diving and synchronized diving, and soccer. The first three I'll watch mostly because they're really fun to watch and I am insanely jealous that I can't do that stuff. I'll watch soccer because I enjoy it, and really care about who wins (Team USA).

I usually don't watch the Olympics; I am too busy. I'll be lucky to have a couple of free hours to watch a Giants game once in a while.

I am extremely excited for the upcoming Olympics in London! My favorite events would have to be basketball and swimming, and I am eager to see if the USA Basketball team can win another gold medal like they did in Beijing four years ago. I will also be watching Michael Phelps, to see if he will set the record for most career gold medals in Olympic history! Overall, I cannot wait for the 2012 Olympics in London, and let's go USA!!

I kind of wish it was winter because luging and speed skating look fun! But I also like swimming and diving, and the whole Olympics in general is pretty cool.
