A waiting room for youths at the Stanislaus County Courthouse got a little cheerier Friday after pieces of art were added as part of a rotating gallery.
Children and teens created the art through a team effort between Hutton House, the Peer Recovery Project Hue Crew, the Community Services Agency and the courthouse.
Youths gathered Friday afternoon to hang the art. Jesse Hernandez, 14, added a painting he created. One piece is a painting called Kitty by Rikki Romero, and a mural was created for the room by several young artists.
