Rev. Illo leads his last Mass in Modesto

St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Modesto said goodbye Sunday to the Rev. Joseph Illo, who led his final Mass at the church before leaving to become a chaplain at Thomas Aquinas College in Southern California.

He will be replaced by the Rev. Mark Wagner, who has been serving as pastor of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Turlock.
