Free Workshop on Foreclosure in Modesto

A free workshop for those facing foreclosure or trying to recover after losing their homes will be offered Saturday in Modesto.

Those who attend will be able to meet with housing counselors, social service providers, banks, mortgage specialists and others.

Advice will be offered about avoiding foreclosure, rebuilding after default, tenant rights and how to improve your credit. Representatives from Bank of America, Wells Fargo and Chase will be available to discuss options for avoiding foreclosure.

The event, from 9 a.m. to3 p.m., will be in Harvest Hall, 3800 Cornucopia Way, Modesto.
