• ART WALK BOOK SIGNINGS

Info: Two local authors are signing their books at this month's Third Thursday Downtown Modesto Art Walk. At the Mistlin Gallery, Margaret Hunter, co-founder of Meghan's Place Eating Disorder Center in Modesto, will sign "Reflections of Body Image in Art Therapy." The book lists art projects women can do to improve their attitudes about their bodies. At Intrinsic Elements, Maureen Minnehan-Jones, an Oakdale registered nurse, guided imagery practitioner and holistic healer, will sign "Wisdom to Wellness," a book about her healing techniques.
