Small-School All-Star Blast

Waterford’s Klay Hopper caught two touchdown passes in the second quarter for the South in the Small-School All-Star Football Game. But the North dominated the game in a 35-17 victory at Big Valley Christian High on Saturday. Hopper hauled in a 25-yard touchdown pass from Big Valley’s Zach Zigler and a 60-yarder from Delhi’s Cory Vargus. Riverbank’s Jose Vigil kicked the extra points and a 35-yard field goal in front of a crowd estimated at 600 fans.
