-- Turlock police arrested two young men on felony charges when officers reportedly found them throwing bottles and kicking cars after a fight.

According to police reports, officers were called twice to a home in the 500 block of East Hawkeye early Friday for reports of large fights. They stopped three men leaving the home.

Bernard Banks, 25, had been throwing bottles and kicking cars, and he lied about his name, police said. He was arrested on felony charges of giving false information, property damage and assault, and two misdemeanor warrants.

Steven Purtle, 18, also was kicking cars and was arrested on a felony property damage charge.

The third man, a 25-year-old, was released.
