Focus on Education (7/9/12)

MEET ME AT THE FAIR: The Stanislaus County Office of Education will staff a booth at the Stanislaus County Fair to offer information on county office programs, which primarily serve students expelled from school districts, teens in juvenile hall and special education students. From 7 to 8:30 p.m. on July 18, Board of Education members and County Superintendent of Schools Tom Changnon will be on hand to meet and hear from the public. Board of Education members are Merle Kronberg, Luis Molina, Kim Rose, Mary Ann Sanders and Kim Spina. The board sets policy for budgeting, curriculum and planning for the County Office of Education. The fair runs Friday through July 22.
