Night riders light up Modesto's Graceada Park

Thursday nights are taking on a special glow these days at Graceada Park, and not just because of the MoBand concerts.

Jennifer Allsup and Nannette Hawxhurst organize gatherings at the Thursday evening concerts at the downtown Modesto park in which bicycle riders decorate their bikes with glow sticks, streamers, ribbon and fabric for a glowing night ride around the park.

The two ladies started the rides at last year's MoBand concerts and have seen anywhere from five to 50 people join their rides.
