Roller skate at Modesto's Vintage Faire Mall

The Village at Vintage Faire mall will be the sight of free roller skating on Friday from 6-9 p.m.

The mall will close down the street in the Village and turn it into a roller rink.

Shoppers must bring their own skates or roller blades to participate. Lawn chairs to watch or listen to music are recommended. The Quake Mobile DJ and KHOP's Ian Riley will play music, hold contests and play roller rink games.

Vintage Faire mall is at 3401 Dale Road in Modesto.
