Most high school students have lofty expectations for themselves when choosing a college or career. Anna Cristina — or Cristy as she prefers to be called — is no different, and her goals and accomplishments are nothing short of impressive.

While at Central Valley, Cristy was Associated Student Body Vice President, the National Honors Society President, and the California Scholarship Federation Secretary. While performing on Impulse, Central Valley's dance team, she also was pole vaulting, running the 100, 200 and the 4 by 100 relay on Central Valley's track team — and at the same time, holding down an overall 4.06 GPA.

When asked what she learned from her high school experience, she says that balancing her time was everything, between AP courses, extra curricular activities, sports and a job.

Cristy will be attending UC Berkeley, majoring in International Business or International Relations.
