Our forefathers, with their infinite wisdom, wrote the preamble of the Constitution, "We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, ensure domestic tranquillity...." I feel that our domestic tranquility has been violated by the increase in crime in our neighborhood by those who are burglarizing our homes and creating terror.
I realize that crime will always go on, however, we can form Neighborhood Watch groups and be ever diligent to who doesn't belong in the neighborhood and then call the local police or sheriff's office.
Also, whenever you see graffiti, remove it immediately rather been letting the blight stay, marking a territory. I just cleaned two Modesto Irrigation District electrical boxes and will again, until the jerks realize that their graffiti will come down as soon as they vandalize the boxes again.
