Man attacked and left on Turlock street

Turlock police are investigating an assault that left a man with life-threatening injuries.

At 7:16 a.m. Thursday, officers received a call from a person who said there was a man who had been assaulted in the 200 block of Third Street, according to officer Mayra Lewis of the Turlock Police Department. When they arrived in the area, they found a man in a barn, Lewis said. He was suffering from injuries to the head and was taken to a nearby hospital.

Aside from saying no suspects had been identified, Lewis had no other details about the case. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Jason Tosta at (209) 668-5550, Ext. 6624.
