Del Rio project will be top flight

We are longtime residents of the Del Rio community. My wife and I live on Country Club Drive, just a quarter mile or so from the proposed townhouse project, and we support the proposed Villas at Del Rio. We've spoken with developer and neighbor Carl Wesenberg, and we're confident he will build a first-class project. We especially like how the Villas will share an architectural theme and have extensive landscaping and a common area that will match the project's character. The project will also incorporate a welcome physical and aesthetic transition to the Del Rio Country Club.

Nine single-family homes could be built on the 4.3-acre site; however, the result would likely be nine clashing designs and landscapes. Further, it could take years before all nine residences would be completed. After all, this site has been vacant for more than 50 years. We prefer something that is going to get built in a timely manner.
