Manteca native Scott Speed will attempt to qualify and run for Sunday's Toyota/Save Mart 350 in Sonoma in a car sponsored by Leavine Family Racing. Speed was expected to race in 15 NASCAR Sprint Cup events for the team this year. He finished 18th at the event in 2010.
