• OLD FASHIONED COUNTRY FAIR

When: Saturday, June 23, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Where: Paramount Court Senior Living, 3791 Crowell Road, Turlock

Info: Summer kickoff fair. Bring your family and enjoy games, prizes, foods, animals, music and dancers. Tickets for food and games are 50 cents each. Proceeds will benefit Paramount Court's Walk to End Alzheimer's Team. For more information, call Cheryl at (209) 664-9500.

• AARP SAFE DRIVER COURSE

When: Thursday, 8:15 a.m.

Where: Marshall Community Center, 420 Chicago Ave., Modesto

Info: The AARP will hold a four-hour refresher safety class. The class will renew the Mature Driver's Insurance discount for an additional three years. To be eligible, driver's certificate must be valid, or expired no longer than 12 months. The cost is $14. AARP members receive a $2 discount. Preregistration is encouraged.
