MJC's Myles on All-Big 8 team

Janie Myles, a 5-11 freshman forward on the Modesto JC women's basketball team, was a unanimous first team All-Big 8 Conference selection. Myles, from West Allis, Wisconsin, led the Big 8 in rebounding (12.2 per game) and was second in scoring average (16.7). Sophomores Courtney Duran (Weston Ranch) and Alyssa McFaddin (Hilmar) earned All-Academic Big 8 honors.
