CSU, Stanislaus, to open labs to families for Science Day

California State University, Stanislaus, will open its labs Saturday for its first Science Day.

Aimed at children and families, the event will feature activities, science shows and guided tours of labs and the campus planetarium.

Organizers promise interaction with insects, skeletons, fossils and snakes.

The free event, sponsored by The Pre-Health Society, American Chemistry Society Club, Bio Club and Society of Physics Students, will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Naraghi Hall of Science.
