Wild, Wet and Windy

Rain, although light, finally returned to the Northern San Joaquin Valley this week. A storm brought just 0.15 inches to downtown as of 5 p.m. Tuesday, the Modesto Irrigation District reported, leaving the season total at less than half of average. The National Weather Service forecasts mostly sunny days through Tuesday, with fog at times.
