Mitt Romney recently made a statement that he is not concerned about the poor. You can bet if he is elected president, the rich will never pay a higher tax rate. The poor and the middle class will continue to carry the burden.

President Obama in his recent State of the Union address stated what he wants to do to move the country forward. He proposed to extend the2 percent payroll tax cut to the end of 2012. He also wants to extend unemployment benefits to help the unemployed. The Republican-controlled Congress continues to work against the president. Their agenda is not what is best for their country, but what is best for their own personal gain.

We also have the people who continue to bash the president, in some cases the same people who are receiving unemployment benefits or benefiting from the payroll tax cut.

When it is all said and done, the American people will give the president four more years.
