Photos are no big deal

In regards to the Modesto Police Department picture scandal ("Police looking into photos," Jan. 19, Page A-1): I believe testosterone is actually a good thing when it comes to law enforcement. Since your state is bankrupt, why not just set a policy versus having an investigation and just move on?

By the way, I believe I heard that one of my hillbilly cousin's friend's cousins had a pair of handcuffs fall out of his pickup around that place that night while he was reliving his "American Graffiti" dream. They were probably his, but he probably would say keep them since you can find them anywhere for about $20. You know, Modesto is a pretty safe city and has very very friendly people from what I hear and see.
