Mayor's Race: Leading through time of change

Modesto needs leadership, and only one candidate has proven the ability to lead: Garrad Marsh. He was president of the State Bowling Association while I served on its board. He led our organization through some of its most difficult times. He was at the helm when the smoking laws were changing, a major concern to the industry. As an industry leader and forward-thinking individual, Marsh had started nonsmoking events in his business six years prior to this. He was well prepared to help his fellow business owners through this industry-changing time. Marsh is a proven leader. Our city needs an experienced and analytic leader.
