Murder-mystery dinner in Turlock

A Turlock Youth Performing Arts troupe will present a valentine murder-mystery dinner Feb. 12 and 14 at the Carnegie Arts Center, 250 N. Broadway, Turlock. Youth roller derby team recruiting

The Mo-Town Misfits, Modesto's coed youth roller derby team, is recruiting new members, ages 5 to 17, for the 2012 season. There will an exhibition bout, informational session and open practice Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Misfits' practice facility, 500 Seventh St. All safety gear and signed release forms will be required for participation in the open practice.
