Golden State Warriors center Kwame Brown had successful surgery to repair the large chest muscle that attaches to his right shoulder on Wednesday.
The team announced on Thursday that the procedure had been performed and that Brown will be out for a minimum of three months.
The surgery was performed by Dr. Neal ElAttrache at the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles. Brown, 31, will begin his rehabilitation when he returns to Oakland next week.
