BASEBALL BEL PASSI — Offers renown youth baseball for ages 4 to 14 playing from March to June. Currently accepting registration for Sylvan Union School District students, and will open to all Stanislaus County residents Jan. 1. CENTRAL VALLEY NITRO — Central Valley Nitro Baseball is looking for players between the ages of 9-17 to round out out spring and summer rosters. CERES YOUTH BASEBALL/SOFTBALL — Registration is Jan. 13 from 6-9 p.m., Jan. 25 from 6-9 p.m. and Feb. 4 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Sam Vaughn School. Baseball players must be 5 years old as of Dec. 31, 2012; baseball players ages 6-15 must be 6 as of April 30, 2012; softball players must be 5 as of Jan 1, 2012. Questions? MODESTO/EMPIRE BASEBALL/SOFTBALL — Teams and individual players ages 7 to 18 are welcome for girls league in 2012. The program will be chartered by Babe Ruth Softball. PRIMETIME 11s and 12s — Primetime Baseball 11 and 12 -unders are holding tryouts Jan. 14 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. to complete our rosters for the 2012 travel season. We are looking for experienced players. Catching experience is a plus, but all positions are welcome. Tryouts will be held at Bethany School in Mountain House (570 S. Escuela Dr., Tracy, 95391). RAINBOW LEAGUE — Rainbow Fields is introducing T-ball and coach-pitch programs in 2012. T-Ball for 4- to 6-year-olds, coach-pitch for 6- to 8-year-olds. Age determined by April 31 birthdates. Cost is $75 per player, $10 off for each additional sibling. Fee includes T-shirt, hat, and league insurance. Play 1-2 games a week, no fundraisers or volunteer hours required.
