Procession in Modesto will follow church service for fallen crime technician

Stanislaus County Sheriff's Crime Scene Investigator Mary Donahou. Donahou was assisting a deputy when she was struck by a vehicle on Santa Fe Ave south of Whitmore Ave at about 6:30 AM and died. Mary had been with the Sheriff's Office for 9 years and leaves behind a 12 year old son.

— Services for the Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department crime scene technician who died in the line of duty will be held today at 10 a.m. at Calvary Temple in Modesto.

Mary Donahou, 46, died Friday after being struck by a car while investigating a drive-by shooting on Santa Fe Avenue in Hughson.

The church is located at 1601 Coffee Road. A burial service will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park in Hughson.

The sheriff's department today released the route of the procession from the church to the Lakewood. Community members are welcomed to view the procession.

It will start at the church at Briggsmore Avenue and Coffee Road and go:

— Southbond Coffee to Scenic Drive

— East on Scenic to Claus Road

— South on Claus to Yosemite Boulevard

— East on Yosemite to Santa Fe Avenue

— Santa Fe to Lakewood Memorial Park

Expected delays from about 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. depending on length of service.
