Where do I fit in? I'm not even close to a one percenter and I'm not a 99 percenter crying "gimme, gimme, gimme." Ninety-nine plus one equals 100, so that leaves me uncounted. However I believe there is 55 to 65 percent of us that are in neither group. It's always easy to say somebody else (the rich?) should pay more but I think we all pay enough already (except for the 49 percent who pay nothing). If we could get our incompetent representatives in Washington, D.C., to agree on spending cuts and a little tax reform instead of sticking strictly to their party ideologies, we could restore America to the level of respect it has had for so long.
If the incompetent impotents prevail, we will begin a free-fall into oblivion. George W. Bush started our problems with his spending propensities and Barack Obama has accelerated us to a warp speed decline. Since the American public, especially in California, routinely sends the worst of a weak list of candidates to Sacramento and Washington, heaven help us.
