Book of Dreams

Once again, the annual Book of Dreams features 15 well-deserving nonprofits serving communities within Stanislaus County. The money donated through this program has been so very helpful to Oakdale's Family Support Network of Oak Valley Hospital.

I wanted to share with you that while the focus is to offer individuals and businesses an opportunity to make a financial donation to the group of their choice, the articles in The Bee (Nov. 20) and web site (www.modbee.com/dreams) offers information on services offered at all sites. Because of this information, we have already received three new families who came to us to sign up their children for programs.

"A Book of Dreams" is a wonderful way to educate our community about the myriad of services offered throughout our county.

While we are in need of the financial donations and are so grateful, we are equally appreciative for your help in spreading the word about the work we do in Oakdale. Our deepest thanks for again choosing the Oakdale Family Support Network as one of this year's Book of Dreams participants.
