Many ways to give thanks in Modesto

MODESTO -- About 15 faith traditions were represented in the annual Interfaith Thanksgiving Celebration at Monday night at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Modesto.

Participants were from Catholic, Ba’hai, Jewish, Muslim, Christian Scientist, American Indian, Buddhist, Hindu, Sikh, Protestant, Mormon, Unity and pagan traditions. They shared expressions of gratitude or thanksgiving from their traditions.

An offering was taken to benefit Inter- Faith Ministries, including nonperishable food, cash or checks.
