Modesto wants input on redistricting

A Modesto commission wants input from residents on redrawing City Council district boundaries.

Public hearings are set for Nov. 30 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Maddux Youth Center, 615 Sierra Drive, and Dec. 7 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Freedom Elementary School, 2101 Fine Ave.

The districting commission needs to redraw the six council areas based on data from the 2010 Census.
