How we help those in need: For the Christmas giveaway with Turlock Together, which we are a part of, we have a great need for toys and warm clothing for children 12 years old and younger. The age group we have the hardest time with is preschool and babies, and then 10- to 12-year-olds. We have a great need for blankets for the warming center and to replace wet blankets during a rainstorm. For the warming center when the weather gets into the 30-40 degree range, we need instant soup and cocoa mixes, as well as cups for hot drinks. For general social services, we need blankets; many people have their thermostats set very low, so they need extra blankets to stay warm.

Individuals and/or families assisted per month: Total cases served, about 150; total number of people, about 470

How a $10 donation can help:1. One-day food box for one family
