PECOS LEAGUE TRYOUTS — The Pecos League, an independent pro baseball league based in New Mexico and Colorado, is coming to Pleasant Grove High (9531 Bond Rd., Elk Grove) on Nov. 4 for a one-day tryout from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. All positions are open for spring training for the 2012 season.
