In turbulent times of strained budgets, declining academic scores, attendance problems, etc., Oakdale is fortunate to have a dedicated school board member of Mike Tozzi's caliber.
I have known Mike for many years, and recognize his unique skills and keen dedication to maintaining the quality and integrity of our school system.
In his regular occupation, Mike administers the entire Stanislaus County court system. This encompasses more than 250 employees and a budget of $30 million. Our court system is known statewide for its efficiency and quality of service. Mike brings these administrative skills to his voluntary task as school board trustee, and our school system is fortunate to have him. It is crucial that we retain his knowledge, dedication and insight into the complex educational process.
