No on Measure O

Measure O is a perfect example of what is wrong with our country. The government unions are dictating where the budgets go. If the police and firefighters' unions want a raise, they put pressure on elected officials to obtain it. If they want an extravagant pension, they put pressure on the elected officials to do as they are told, or they might have a difficult time getting re-elected.

Measure O is sold to the public as a quality of life issue, but the truth is it's about public unions getting their way. If Measure O passes, it will not satisfy the city. Within months or years there is going to be another measure asking for more. No on Measure O.
