Big Valley club has trips planned

The Big Valley Travel Club has the following day trips, overnighters, and overseas trips coming up:

• APPLE HILL — near Placerville, Oct. 21, $60 for transportation and goodies

• FALL COLORS IN YOSEMITE VALLEY — Oct. 27, $60 for transportation, park entry fee, parking, but no meal

• "RICHARD III" — starring Kevin Spacey in San Francisco, Oct. 29,2 p.m., $115 and $140

• BAY CRUISE ON VETERANS DAY — On the USS Potomac, Nov. 11, $75 for transportation, cruise, parking and treats

• FREE DAY IN SAN FRANCISCO — to "do your own thing," Nov. 15, $55 for transportation, parking, bridge tolls

• CHRISTMAS FAIRS IN GRASS VALLEY, NEVADA CITY — Nov. 26, $60 for transportation and special treats

• DICKENS CHRISTMAS FAIRE — Cow Palace in San Francisco, Nov. 27, $70 covers transportation, bridge toll, entry to Victorian London, parking, and special treats.

• SOLVANG AND SANTA BARBARA — Nov. 7-11, with two nights at each city, $425 includes transportation, lodging with breakfast each morning, entry fees to several parks and museums. Small group (10 maximum)

• PALM SPRINGS SENIOR FOLLIES — March 26-29, $425 covers transportation, lodging with cooked breakfast, ticket for the2 p.m. matinee, parking, many fun activities.
